Lady Hornets fall to WSM 3.0 on home turf

The Franklin Lady Hornets dropped a 3-0 decision to the West St. Mary Lady Wolfpack Tuesday at the Franklin High School’s Girls’ Gym.
Franklin loss to West St. Mary at home Tuesday by scores of 20-25, 17-25, 23-25 in a non-district contest.
Leading scorer for the Lady Hornets was Sta’Trail Butler with 15 points. She also had 6 aces and 1 kill.
Other top scoresr for the Lady Hornets were: Kaira Butler with 4 kills and 2 aces; Jazmine Brent had 4 aces and 1 kill; Keviante Gilton had 2 kills; Jazmin Byers had 2 kills, 1 assist, 2 aces, and 1 dig; Christiana Blanks had 1 assist and 3 digs; Tijirira Guilbeau had 3 assists and 2 aces, and Brianna Bowie had 5 assists.
Next up for the Lady Hornets will be the Carencro Tournament that starts on Thursday. The Lady Hornets will take on Northside at 3:30 and Delcambre at 5:30 on Thursday and then Terrebonne at 9:00 on Saturday.
Next home game for the Lady Hornets will be Westgate on Tuesday. JV at 4 followed by varsity.
