Local athlete signs letter of intent to play college ball

Paige Diamond, pictured left seated center at the table, signed her National Letter of Intent to play softball at McNeese State University recently. She will graduate in May and will begin her college softball career in the fall of 2017. She was recruited by McNeese by the team Louisiana Bombers 18U Gold. She has played travel ball since the age of nine and this signing is an eight year dream come true to play ball at the collegiate level. Paige is pictured with her parents Kevin and Cathy, and all her coaches from over the years.
