MC soccer receiving statewide recognition

The Morgan City Tigers soccer team is receiving votes in the initial Division 2 Louisiana High School Soccer Coaches Association poll.
The Tigers (2-1-1), received 24 votes.
Beau Chene is the top team in Division 2, while Morgan City’s District 7 opponents, Vandebilt and E.D. White, are ranked seventh and eighth, respectively.
Morgan City’s opponent Tuesday, East Jefferson, is ranked No. 6.
