MCHS baseball jamboree is Saturday

Morgan City High School’s annual varsity baseball jamboree will be held Saturday at Tiger Diamond.
In addition to host Morgan City, Franklin, Berwick, Hanson Memorial and Patterson will compete.
Action will begin with a 10 a.m. contest between Franklin and Berwick, followed by an 11 a.m. game between Morgan City and Berwick.
After Franklin and Hanson meet at noon, Patterson and Hanson are set for a 1 p.m. matchup, followed by Patterson and Morgan City at 2 p.m.
Each game will last, at most, either one hour or three innings.
CCHS to participate in
CLHS Jamboree
The Central Catholic Eagles will conclude their preseason preparations Saturday at the Central Lafourche Jamboree.
Central Catholic, a Class 1A semifinalist in 2015, will meet South Lafourche in a 10 a.m. contest.
