MCHS baseball jamboree is Saturday

High school baseball teams will get their final tune-ups in this weekend when they participate in jamboree action.
Three of the Tri-City area’s four teams will compete in Morgan City High School’s baseball jamboree Saturday.
Berwick, Morgan City and Patterson will participate along with Franklin and Hanson Memorial.
Each game will last up to three innings with no more than an hour time limit.
Saturday’s action will begin with a 10 a.m. contest between Franklin and Berwick, followed by an 11 a.m. game featuring Morgan City and Berwick. Franklin and Hanson Memorial will play at noon, followed by Patterson and Hanson at 1 p.m. Patterson and Morgan City will close the jamboree at 2 p.m.
Central Catholic, the Tri-City area’s fourth baseball team, will travel to Central Lafourche’s Jamboree Saturday. The Eagles will meet St. Martin’s Episcopal in a 10 a.m. contest in Matthews.
