MCHS boys soccer plays Terrebonne to a 2-2 tie

The Morgan City boys’ soccer team played Terrebonne to a 2-all tie in action in Houma Tuesday.
The Tigers got goals from Jose Aguilera in the 10th minute and Robert Prejeant in the 38th minute via a free kick.
Last week, Morgan City (0-1-1) opened its season on Nov. 16, with a 1-0 loss to Central Lafourche.
The team will be in action this weekend when it participates in Pineville’s tournament.
In girls’ action, Morgan City fell Tuesday to Terrebonne, 1-0.
This past weekend, the team participated in Central Lafourche’s tournament where it finished 0-2, falling to South Terrebonne, 3-0 and Dutchtown, 8-0.
Morgan City’s third game of the tournament was canceled due to weather.
Earlier last week, Morgan City opened its season Nov. 16, against Central Lafourche, falling 7-0.
Morgan City (0-4) will return to action Tuesday when it hosts H.L. Bourgeois.
