The Morgan City High School Lady Tiger bowling team finished its season as state runner up today at the Final Four at All-Star Lanes in Baton Rouge. MCHS Lady Tigers finish the season as state runner-up.

The Morgan City Lady Tigers fell to Central of Baton Rouge, 21-6, in the state bowling finals this afternoon at All Star Lanes.
Morgan City (15-2), the No. 5 seed from the state's western Bi-Regional, advanced to the state finals after upsetting St. Scholastica, the defending state champion and this year's No. 2 seed in the state's eastern Bi-Regional, 18.5-8.5, in the semifinals this morning.
Central (16-0), the runner-up in 2015 and the No. 1 seed out of the state's eastern Bi-Regional this season, advanced to the finals after knocking off Ellender, the No. 3 seed in the west, 16-11, in the other semifinal matchup.
The Morgan City girls were making their first appearance in the state's Final Four this season.
