MCHS Lady Tigers win two games

The Morgan City Lady Tigers bowling team picked up two wins last week as the squad defeated E.D. White Feb. 15 and Houma Christian Feb. 17.
Against E.D. White Feb. 15, Morgan City won 26-1 at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City.
Meghan Amador (199, 162) led Morgan City with a 510 series, Mackenzie Amador (176, 165) recorded a 489 series and Ali Tregle (162, 154, 165) had a 481 series.
Marissa Davis also was a top bowler for Morgan City with games of 158 and 169.
On Feb. 17, Morgan City defeated Houma Christian, 26-1.
Hannah Pipes led Morgan City with a 587 series (223, 210). Other top bowers included Regan Barbier with a 435 series (168), Meghan Amador, 426 series (230, 196) and Mackenzie Amador (209, 161).

The Morgan City Tiger bowling team split its games last week, falling to E.D. White Feb. 15 and defeating Central Catholic Feb. 17.
In the Feb. 15 contest, Morgan City fell to E.D. White 20-7 at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City.
Zachary Gussman led Morgan City with a 521 series (185, 177), while other top bowlers for Morgan City included Jonathan Spinella (177) and Jason Myers (160, 160).
On Feb. 17, Morgan City defeated Central Catholic 19.5-7.5 at Charlie’s Lanes.
Hau Vo (208, 212) led Morgan City with a 559 series. Other top bowlers included Jayson Hidalgo (221, 194), Gussman (209, 194), Zachary Stewart (176, 205), Antoine Bui (193), Myers (184), Aaron Nguyen (177) and Spinella (166).

Central Catholic went 0-2 last week, falling to Houma Christian Feb. 15 and Morgan City Feb. 17.
In the Feb. 15 matchup at Creole Lanes in Houma, Central Catholic fell to Houma Christian 19.5-7.5.
Josh Abney led Central Catholic with a 546 series (165, 223), while Dave Laubach had a 514 series (171, 171, 172). Other top bowlers included Emily Price with a 445 series (161, 180) and Matthew Guarisco (165).
Against Morgan City Feb. 17, Central Catholic fell 19.5-7.5.
Abney led Central Catholic with a 556 series (260), while Laubach had a 552 series (209, 184). Other top bowlers included Price with a 478 series (169, 181) and Liam McCoy (188).
Berwick boys
win lone game
The Berwick Panthers bowling team won its lone game Feb. 17 with a 22-5 victory against E.D. White at Charlie’s Lanes.
Mark Lemoine led the squad with a 655 series (255, 199, 201), Aaron Barrilleaux recorded a 619 series (249, 215) and Abram Gilder, a 607 series (164, 209, 234). Other top bowlers included Chris Beltran, 550 series (210, 181); Brandon Lemoine, 512 series (178, 171, 163); and Lucas Landry (170, 171).
Berwick Lady Panthers drop two matches
The Berwick Lady Panthers dropped matches against Houma Christian Feb. 15 and E.D. White Feb. 17.
In the Feb. 15 match, Berwick fell to Houma Christian at Creole Lanes in Houma, 19.5-7.5.
Brianna Toups led Berwick with a 384 series (151), while Haidyn Derise (150) also contributed.
On Feb. 17, E.D. White defeated Berwick, 18-9.
Toups led Berwick with a 374 series (153).
