BALDWIN _ The North Vermilion Patriots nipped the West St. Mary Wolfpack 14-12 in District 6-3A action Friday at Wolfpack Stadium.
West St. Mary slipped to 3-5 overall and 0-3 in District 6-3A with the setback.
North Vermilion improved to 4-4 overall and 3-0 in District 6-3A with the win.
West St. Mary will play host to the Erath Bobcats (2-6, 1-2) on Friday in league play.
