Opelousas Catholic downs Wolfpack

BALDWIN _ The Opelousas Catholic Vikings spoiled the West St. Mary Wolfpack Homecoming with a 42-6 victory here Thursday in District 5-2A action at Wolfpack Stadium.
Opelousas Catholic (4-2, 2-1) built up a 28-0 lead at the half before earning the 42-7 victory.
West St. Mary (1-5, 1-2) scored its touchdown when senior linebacker Torrance Ballet raced 28 yards with a fumble recovery late in the third quarter.
West St. Mary will continue District 5-2A action next Thursday at Notre Dame of Crowley at 7 p.m.
