Patterson defeats Centerville, 56-37

Patterson defeated Centerville, 56-37, in Centerville Tuesday.
Erykah Singleton led three Lumberjills in double figures with 20 points. Others reaching double figures included Kamiah Watson with 15 and Makayla Ruiz with 11. Other Patterson scorers included Kenyontae Washington, five; Nyla Holder, four; and Kemprielle Williams, one.
Patterson (2-0) will return to action Thursday when it opens play in Centerville’s Tournament of the Teche with an 8 p.m. contest against Teurlings Catholic.
CCHS falls to Walker
Walker High School defeated Central Catholic, 45-25, in Morgan City Tuesday.
Hallie Autin led Central Catholic with nine points, while Yani Johnson had six and Rebecca David, four.
Central Catholic (4-3) will return to action Thursday when it opens play in Centerville’s Tournament of the Teche with a 5 p.m. contest against Berwick.
