Patterson routs Bunkie, 77-39

The Patterson Lumberjacks jumped out on Bunkie early en route to a 77-39 victory in nondistrict play at Bunkie Wednesday.
Patterson led 23-6 after a quarter, 37-21 at halftime and 58-34 after three quarters.
Elijah Williams led three Lumberjacks in double figures with 15 points. Other scorers included Jordan Butler, 11; John Brooks, 10; James Butler, nine; Tyric Garrett, eight; Khyri Harris, five; Dajon Richard and Drew Lucas, four each; and Kai Schexnayder, Randy Paul and Kamiah Jones, three each.
Patterson (5-3) won’t return to action until Tuesday when it travels to take part in St. Martinville’s tournament.
