Prep bowling season begins Wednesday

The prep bowling regular season will begin Wednesday with the area’s three teams in action.
All matches will begin at 3:40 p.m.
At Charlie’s Lanes, Berwick will meet Central Lafourche in girls’ and boys’ action.
The area other teams, Morgan City’s girls and Central Catholic’s boys, will hit the road for their first games of the season.
Morgan City will face Ellender Memorial at Bowl South in Houma. On the girls’ side, the matchup is a big one as Morgan City, who finished the season as state runner-up a year ago, will face Ellender, one of just two teams to defeat them last year. Ellender finished last season as a state semifinalist.
At Creole Lanes in Houma, Central Catholic will meet South Lafourche.
