Raiders stop WSM

BALDWIN _ Kenny Lewis caught a pair of touchdowns, leading the Northwest High School Raiders to a 14-0 victory over the West St. Mary Wolfpack here Friday at Wolfpack Stadium.
With the win, the Raiders spoiled the Wolfpack Homecoming contest.
Northwest marched 80 yards in its first touchdown in the second quarter for a 7-0 advantage.
Quarterback Richard Harvey tossed a 21-yard pass to Lewis who was standing in the endzone midway through the second quarter as the Raiders went ahead by a 7-0 lead.
In the second half, Lewis hauled in a 14-yard pass from Harvey, giving the Raiders the 14-0 victory.
On the night, West St. Mary (2-2) moved the ball but each drive stalled before scoring.
West St. Mary’s Kylon Brown and Ta’Mon Lockett thwarted drives by the Raiders with interceptions.
West St. Mary will travel to face Ferriday on Friday in non-district action.
