Second annual Tri-City Baseball Classic will begin Thursday

The second annual Tri-City Baseball Classic will begin Thursday and continue through Saturday at various sites throughout east St. Mary and Lafourche parishes.
Games will be played Thursday at Patterson High School, Morgan City’s Tiger Diamond and E.D. White.
On Friday, games will be played at Patterson High, Tiger Diamond and at Central Lafourche.
Saturday’s action will be in St. Mary Parish as games will take place at Patterson High, Tiger Diamond and the Amelia Recreation Center where Central Catholic plays.
The 19-team tournament features five St. Mary Parish teams — Patterson, Central Catholic, Hanson, Morgan City and Berwick.
Other teams scheduled to participate include Thibodaux, South Terrebonne, New Iberia, Central Lafourche, Ellender, Abbeville, Covenant Christian, H.L. Bourgeois, South Lafourche, E.D. White, Bunkie, Marksville, Thomas Jefferson and McKinley.
