St. Mary teams to close out regular season

West St. Mary entertains Loreauville in an important District 5-2A contest while the Franklin Hornets, Hanson Memorial Tigers and the Centerville all take to the road in the regular season finales Friday in high school football.
West St. Mary is currently 3-3 in District 5-2A while Loreauville holds a 4-2 league mark.
Franklin (1-9, 0-5) heads into the regular season finale on the road against longtime St. Mary Parish rival Patterson (3-6, 3-2) on Friday in District 8-3A play.
Hanson Memorial (2-7, 1-5) will make the short drive to face the Gueydan Bears (1-8, 1-5) in District 7-A action Friday.
The Centerville Bulldogs (1-8, 0-5) will close out the regular season on the road at Highland Baptist in District 7-A action in New Iberia.
LOREAUVILLE AT WEST ST. MARY
West St. Mary plays host to the Loreauville Tigers with a lot on the line Friday in the District 5-2A finale.
West St. Mary (3-7, 3-3) is currently one-game behind Loreauville (6-2, 4-2) in District 5-2A with a possible first round home playoff game in the State Class 2-A playoffs looming.
The Wolfpack is coming off a huge 56-24 victory over the Delcambre Panthers last week while the Loreauville Tigers will visit Wolfpack Stadium after upsetting the Opelousas Catholic Vikings 20-14 last week.
West St. Mary hosts Loreauville in District 5-2A action Friday at Wolfpack Stadium at 7 p.m.
FRANKLIN AT PATTERSON
The Franklin Hornets will make the short drive to battle longtime St. Mary Parish nemesis Patterson Friday in the regular season finale.
Franklin heads to Patterson after dropping a 33-6 loss to East St. John last week. Patterson prepares to host Franklin on Friday after pinning a 42-28 loss on the North Vermilion Patriots last week in District 8-3A action.
HANSON AT GUEYDAN
The Hanson Memorial Tigers will take to the road to square off against the Gueydan Bears in District 7-A action.
In last Friday’s action, Hanson Memorial dropped a 54-36 decision to Highland Baptist while Gueydan bowed to No. 10 ranked Central Catholic of Morgan City by a 40-24 margin.
CENTERVILLE AT HIGHLAND BAPTIST
The Centerville Bulldogs will travel to face the Highland Baptist Bears Friday in the District 7-A finale.
Centerville came up on the short end of a 54-20 loss to Vermilion Catholic last week while Highland Baptist toppled the Hanson Memorial Tigers by a 54-36 margin.
