Trio of Tigers net district honors
Morgan City High School had three boys basketball players named honorable mention All-District 7-4A.
The Tigers’ Jaylen Jones, Marquise Green and Buddy Humphrey all were chosen.
Morgan City finished its district season with an 0-8 mark.
Ellender took two of the three top honors on the squad as Leland Alexander was named Most Valuable Player and Ellender’s Cornell Scott was named Coach of the Year.
Assumption’s Jordan Andrew was the district’s Defensive Most Valuable Player.
