West St. Mary plays tonight; Hanson, Franklin play on Friday

In Week 2 of the local high school grid season, the West St. Mary Wolfpack take to the road tonight to face the Loreauville Tigers while the Hanson Tigers and Franklin Hornets will play on Friday.
West St. Mary (0-1) will travel to play Loreauville (0-1) tonight at 7 p.m. in non-district action.
Hanson Memorial (1-0) will take to the road to face Catholic High of Point Coupee while the Franklin Hornets (0-1) will play host to the Westgate Tigers at J. C. Dry Stadium on Friday.
WEST ST. MARY AT LOREAUVILLE
The West St. Mary Wolfpack will make the short journey to Loreauville tonight to battle the Loreauville Tigers in non-district action.
West St. Mary and Loreauville are looking for their first win after coming up on the short end during last week’s season-opening contests.
West St. Mary dropped a 23-20 decision to the Opelousas Tigers on the road last week while the Loreauville Tigers bowed to the Central Catholic Eagles 27-21 at home.
West St. Mary will travel to battle Loreauville tonight at 7 p.m. in non-district action.
HANSON AT CATHOLIC HIGH (PC)
Hanson Memorial will travel to face Catholic High of Point Coupee on Friday in non-district action.
The Hanson Memorial Tigers opened the season last week in grand fashion with a 26-6 triumph over the Jeanerette Tigers at McCloskey Field.
During last week’s contest, the Tigers gained control early before running to the 26-6 victory.
HMS will travel to face Catholic High of Point Coupee on Friday at 7 p.m.
WESTGATE AT FSHS
The Franklin Hornets will play host to the Westgate Tigers Friday at J. C. Dry Stadium with kickoff slated for 7 p.m.
Franklin will be looking for its first win after falling to the Central Lafourche Trojans by a score of 24-0 on the road Friday. Franklin will host Westgate on Friday at 7 p.m. at J. C. Dry Stadium.
