Westlake stops FSHS

WESTLAKE _ Westlake held off the Franklin Hornets 13-7 in the opening round of the State Class 3A playoffs here Friday at the Westlake High School Stadium.
The No. 21-seeded Franklin Hornets finished the season with a 6-5 overall record which included a 3-1 District 9-3A record. Franklin, which finished in second place in District 9-3A, dropped a narrow 13-7 setback to Westlake in the opening round of the state Class 3A playoffs.
