WSM plays tonight; HMS, FHS will host league games Friday

In Week 9, the West St. Mary Wolfpack will take to the road to play the Erath Bobcats tonight while the Hanson Memorial Tigers and the Franklin Hornets will host league opponents Friday in Week 9 of the high school football season.
West St. Mary (0-8, 0-3) will square off against the Erath (3-5, 1-2) in District 6-3A action tonight at 7 at Erath High School.
The Hanson Memorial Tigers (5-3, 2-3) will host the Vermilion Catholic Eagles (7-1, 4-0) in District 7-1A Friday at 7 at McCloskey Field.
The Franklin Hornets (0-8, 0-3) will host the Donaldsonville Tigers (4-4, 1-2) in District 9-3A Friday at 7 at J. C. Dry Stadium.

West St. Mary heads into Erath tonight for a District 6-3A battle looking for a win.
The Wolfpack is coming off Friday’s 33-8 loss to the North Vermilion Patriots. Erath enters tonight’s contest following a 30-14 setback at the hands of the Kaplan Pirates last week.
West St. Mary travels to Erath to play the EHS Bobcats in District 6-3A action tonight with kickoff slated for 7.
VCHS AT HMS
Hanson Memorial will play host to the highly-regarded Vermilion Catholic Eagles Friday at McCloskey Field in District 7-A action.
Hanson returns to action after last week’s 36-29 road loss to the Highland Baptist Lions. Vermilion Catholic, currently leading District 7-A with a 4-0 record, will visit McCloskey Field Friday after defeating the Eunice Bobcats 22-20 last week.
HMS plays host to Vermilion Catholic on Friday in District 7-A at McCloskey Field at 7 p.m.
DHS AT FSHS
Franklin returns home after a three-week absence to play the Donaldsonville Tigers in District 9-3A on Friday at 7 p.m. at J. C. Dry Stadium.
Franklin returns home for the first time in three weeks to face Donaldsonville in league play.
Franklin is coming off a 23-0 loss to the Ellender Memorial Patriots last week while Donaldsonville comes to town after posting a 32-0 victory over the Berwick Panthers.
Franklin hosts Donaldsonville in District 9-3A Friday at 7 p.m. at J. C. Dry Stadium.
