Calliope Puppets launch into farthest outer space for Summer Reading Program 2014 “Fizz! Boom! Read!” at the Morgan City Public Library at 2 p.m. Thursday. “Eeep Goes Home” is an original story of an alien’s search for his own “home.” The program is free and open to the public. Tim and Laura Allured will present “The Harvey Rabbit and Friends Show” at the St. Mary Parish Library Bayou Vista Branch at 2 p.m. June 10. The show features Harvey, the Talking Rabbit, Cecil the Orangutan and T-Boy the Alligator. The puppets provide a energetic show of ventriloquism, puppetry, music, magic and comedy mixed in with audience participation. This is part of the library’s Summer Reading Program.
