Miller-Henry wed in July 15 ceremony

Lauren Miller and Brandon Henry were united in holy matrimony at 7 p.m. July 15 during a double-ring ceremony at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Berwick. The Rev. Andre Melancon officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Leah and Steve Miller of Berwick. The groom is the son of Donna Deroche Henry, and Mr. and Mrs. David Henry, all of Houma.
For the ceremony, the altar held candelabra that were donated to the church by the bride’s great-great-aunt, Leah Stansbury. Hydrangeas decorated the pews.
Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride wore a tulle and satin ball gown designed with a bodice featuring an illusion bateau neckline trimmed with beading and a beaded illusion V-back. The gown was chapel length.
Her elbow-length veil of illusion completed the look.
She carried a bouquet of blush and white English roses accentuated with her grandmother Sharon Broussard’s rosary, and memory charms for her great-grandparents, the late Opal and Chester Guidroz, and the late Weldon Miller.
Jenna Oubre was her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Alicia Rebstock, Lauren Guidry, Amber Vaughn and Jennifer Walker. Junior bridesmaids were Isabella Vicknair and Haleigh Henry.
Bridesmaids were attired in floor-length gowns of blush chiffon. They carried bouquets of blush and white English roses and hydrangeas.
Collin Henry was ringbearer.
Scotti Henry served as best man. Groomsmen were Richie McGaw, Shaun Lucas, Jonathan White and Jason Kearns.
Ushers were Joshua Miller and Dwayne Deroche.
A reception followed at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.
The wedding cake was a four-tiered confection adorned with cascading hydrangeas, and blush and white English roses. The table was covered with a gold-sequined tablecloth.
Backdrop for the bride’s table was a chandelier accented with white draping.
Guest tables were decorated with navy tablecloths, gold mercury goblets, candles and hydrangeas. The dance floor chandelier was accented with white draping.
Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Café Jo Jo’s in Morgan City.
The bride is a graduate of Berwick High School and Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. She is a teacher in St. Tammany Parish.
The groom is a graduate of Vandebilt High School in Houma and the University of New Orleans. He is an engineer with Halliburton.
