Anslem-Price wed in double-ring ceremony

Amanda Anslem and Kyle Price were united in holy matrimony during a 1 p.m. double-ring ceremony Oct. 3 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City. Deacon Randall Jennings officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Johnny and Patricia Anslem of Morgan City. She is the granddaughter of Mable Lester and the late Vincent Lester Sr., and Hazel Anslem and the late Pete Anslem.
The groom is the son of Morris and Gwen Price of Morgan City. He is the grandson of Jack and Sue Fernandez, the late Terry Lee Fernandez, and Genevieve Price and the late Lee Price.
For the ceremony, the aisles were lined with turquoise netting draped from the pews with starfish centerpieces.
Music was by Tim Cook, organist; Gina Doran, violinist and Donna Rae Connor, vocalist.
Greeters were LeeAnne Price and Carlie Dupre. Readers were Sherie Michel and LeeAnne Price.
Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in an all-over trumpet-lace, fit-and-flare gown with Diamante beading throughout and cap sleeves. Ivory lace over an oyster dolce satin underdress was complemented with a 4-foot train. Crystal buttons covered the zip-up back. It was contoured with a satin belt with intricate silver beading, pearls, sequins and rhinestones.
Gracing her head was a two-tier fingertip veil with rhinestone pearls and a beaded edge.
She carried a bouquet of turquoise Gerbera daisies surrounded by baby’s breath, white roses and hydrangea with accenting seashells. A rosary belonging to Mable Lester draped from the bouquet.
Mandy Mayon Price was matron of honor and Tammy Anslem was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elisabeth Price Portero and Brooke Landry Darnell.
Bridal attendants wore turquoise chiffon dresses each of a different style. They each carried a bouquet of turquoise Gerbera daisies and roses with accenting white hydrangea.
Presley Fernandez was flower girl and Vincent Lester was ringbearer.
Best man was Jordan Price. Groomsmen were Taylor Portero, Austin Ratcliff and Andrew Ratcliff III.
Ushering guests were Vincent Lester Jr., Robert Lester, John Price and Raymond Michel.
A reception followed at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City.
Table decorations included a variety of beach-themed decor including turquoise flowers in sand, driftwood, seashells and starfish.
The bride’s cake was a five-tiered, off-white cake with textured icing. Finishing the cake was turquoise and off-white flowers.
The groom’s cake was a replica of his fireman bunker gear.
Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Holiday Inn in Morgan City.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Morgan City High School and a 2014 graduate of Nicholls State University. She a registered nurse at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Morgan City. He is an employee of the Morgan City Fire Department.
They honeymooned in Castries, Saint Lucia, and reside Morgan City.
