Bellard-Forgey exchange vows

Erin Alyse Bellard and Nicholas Alan Forgey were united in holy matrimony during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony on Oct. 25 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott. The Rev. Tom Voorhies officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shannon Bellard of Scott. The groom is the son of Alan Forgey and Sarah Domino Forgey, both of Morgan City.
Decorating the sanctuary were calla lilies hung on pews lining the aisle.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a vintage-inspired gown. The strapless, subtly-curved neckline topped off a fully-embroidered lace A-line silhouette dress with delicate hand-beaded accents along the empire waist. The skirt’s scalloped hem extended into a chapel-length train.
She wore a lace-trimmed veil handmade by her grandmother, Mona Hodge. She carried a hand-tied clutched bouquet of Picasso calla lilies.
Aysia Richard was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cori Bellard, sister of the bride; Victoria Hodge and Hannah Bellard, cousins of the bride; and Linzy Landry, Alex Bacque and Amber Alleman.
Maryanne Hodge, godchild of the bride, was the flower girl.
Thomas Dolci was best man. Groomsmen were Trevor Bellard and John-Michael Bellard, brothers of the bride; Lonnie Veillon; Clayton Williamson; Thomas Ledbetter, cousin of the groom; and Teddy Bergeron.
Ushers were Jason Louviere, Noah Bellard and Peyton Bellard.
A reception followed at Keith’s Ballroom in Broussard.
The bride’s cake was a three-tiered confection. The groom’s cake depicted a stack of 45-pound weights.
Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s mother and Heather Guarisco at Fezzo’s Seafood and Steak House in Scott.
The bride is a graduate of Acadiana High School and attends The University of Louisiana at Lafayette majoring in nursing. She is employed at Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette.
The groom is a graduate of Morgan City High School and attends ULL majoring in psychology. He is the manager of Complete Nutrition in Lafayette.
The couple resides in Lafayette.
