Darce-Rhodes exchange vows

Malory Darce and Corey Rhodes were joined in matrimony during a 6 p.m. double-ring ceremony on Nov. 7 at Word of Life in Patterson. The Rev. Den Hussey officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Edward and Cindy Darce of Centerville. The groom is the son of Clyde and Nancy Rhodes of Morgan City.
For the occasion, the church was adorned with arrangements of white baby’s breath and hydrangeas, rustic white lanterns, glass cylinders with candles and gold cylinder candles.
Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory designer gown of solid lace and a sweetheart neckline. Gracing her head was a cathedral-length veil.
She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas wrapped in lace from her mother’s wedding dress.
Bethanie Thibodeaux was maid of honor. She wore a gown in cobalt blue and carried white peonies.
Bridesmaids were Amber Foret, Chancie Clements, Mandi Fryou and Mandy Miller.
Serving as flower girl was Della Miller. Camden Clements was ringbearer.
The groom’s father was his best man. Groomsmen were Quinton Jones, Coty Clements, Michael Parsiola and Cody Rhodes.
Ushers were Edward Darce Jr. and John Parsiola.
A reception followed at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City.
The wedding cake was a three-tiered confection in white almond featuring red velvet and butter-pecan fillings.
Table centerpieces were rustic white lanterns, baby’s breath and gold candles.
Guests were treated to an ice cream booth.
Helping with hospitalities were Peggy Darce and Roanne Parsiola.
Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Café Jo Jo’s in Morgan City.
The bride is a graduate of Aveda Institute in Lafayette. She is employed with Stiel Insurance in Morgan City.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He works at OneSubsea – Cameron.
They honeymooned in the Bahamas and Disney World, and reside in Patterson.
