King-Naquin wed in Morgan City

Sarah King and Ronnie Naquin were married Sept. 5 during a 7 p.m. double-ring ceremony at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City. Chaplain James W. “Jim” Melvin officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Christine and Mark King. The groom is the son of Linda and Raymond Naquin.
Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a fit and flare gown designed with a sweetheart neckline embellished with Swarovski crystals. The gown was overlaid with English net adorned with delicate lace appliques.
She carried a cascade bouquet of blush pink roses, ivory roses, white stock, peonies, freesia, miniature calla lilies and lambs ear embellished with pearls and ivory feathers. The bouquet’s stem wrap was made of lace from her bridal gown.
Brian Watson was man of honor and Hannah King, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Erica Sanchez. Junior bridesmaids were Brianna King, daughter of the bride and Leia King, niece of the bride.
Female bridal attendants each wore a modified A-line silhouette in blush with an illusion neckline, a satin ribbon at the waist and a peekaboo back. They each carried a clutch bouquet of blush and ivory roses, ivory hydrangea, ranunculus, miniature calla lilies and lambs ear accented with ivory feathers.
Flower girl Aria King, niece of the bride, carried a pomander of ivory and blush roses accented with ivory feathers. Baby flower girl Emma King, niece and godchild of the bride, was escorted by her father, Jay King, and carried by the bride’s mother.
Robbie Naquin was his twin brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Eric Naquin, Trent Naquin and Kevin Naquin, brothers of the groom and Jay King, brother of the bride.
A reception followed.
The registration table held a clear vase adorned with blush pin and ivory roses, white hydrangea and delphiniums, dusty miller and lambs ear foliage accented with ostrich plumes. Some guest table centerpieces held similar centerpieces. Centerpieces were accented by three small tussie-mussie bouquets and mercury glass votive candles.
Other guest tables were adorned with decorated frames filled with hydrangeas, blush roses and light pink miniature calla lilies placed on a mirror base. Banquet room guest tables held mint julep vases filled with white hydrangea, blush pink roses, pink miniature calla lilies and lambs ear foliage. Accenting arrangements were votive candles.
Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held at Café Jo Jo’s in Morgan City.
The newlyweds reside in Patterson.
