Mayon-Price wed at Holy Cross Church

Mandy Marie Mayon and Jordan Lane Price were united in matrimony July 25 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City. The Rev. Clyde Mahler officiated the 1 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Adam Mayon Jr. of Morgan City. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Price of Morgan City.
Enhancing the sanctuary for the ceremony were burlap and white tulle pew markers.
Music was by vocalist Hope Daigle and guitarist Adam Barras.
Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride wore a fitted ivory lace gown designed with scooped neckline, cap sleeves and a V-back. Her tulle veil featured lace edges.
She carried a nosegay bouquet of white and ivory roses, calla lilies, hydrangeas and baby’s breath.
Kristina Mayon Manuel was her sister’s matron of honor. She wore an aubergine dress with an ivory lace top. She carried a lace and burlap clutch.
Bridesmaids were Morgan Goulas, Amanda Anslem, Lauren Blair and Harleigh Price.
Kyle Price served as best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Manuel, Sean Marshall, Jeremy Price and Joshua Price.
Ushers were John Dylan Tweedel and Bradley Price.
Zane Manuel and Jayden Price were ringbearers.
A reception followed at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.
Decorations for the shabby-chic-rustic theme included mason jars, lanterns, burlap, wood and trees.
The bride’s cake was iced in white with lace and pearl decorations.
The groom’s cake was a replica of his four-wheeler. A camp scene was the backdrop for the groom’s table.
Helping cut the cakes were Melissa Boudreaux Silva, godmother of the bride; and Gwen Willoughby, godmother of the groom.
Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Berwick Civic Complex.
The bride is a graduate of Morgan City High School and earned an associate’s degree in business office administration from South Central Louisiana Technical College. She works at Shannon Hardware in Morgan City.
The groom is a graduate of Morgan City High School and Nicholls State University in Thibodaux with a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems. He works at EEC Testing Service.
They took a honeymoon cruise to Belize, Cozumel, Mexico and Mahogany Bay, Honduras, and reside in Morgan City.
