Mire-Nunez married at Sacred Heart

Caitlin Elaine Mire and Jared Todd Nunez were married Nov. 15 during a 7 p.m. double-ring ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City. The Rev. Sabino Rebosura II officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Mire of Morgan City. The groom is the son of Todd Nunez of Chalmette, and Mr. and Mrs. Greg Richard of Carencro.
For the ceremony, the church was decorated with pale pink, ivory and neutral vintage floral arrangements in footed vases.
Music was by organist Lee LeBlanc and violinist Gina Duran.
Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of candlelight Dupioni silk designed with a ruched bodice and a sweetheart neckline. She wore a crystal headband that held a candlelight fingertip-length veil.
Her bouquet was of pale pink, ivory and neutral vintage flowers wrapped in champagne ribbon.
Megan Garrett was maid of honor. She wore a knee-length dress in black chiffon.
Bridesmaids were Danielle Henry, Kate Pitts, Jorden McCollough and Sarah Nunez. Sophia Hebert was junior bridesmaids.
Bridal attendants carried a bouquet of pale pink, ivory and neutral vintage flowers wrapped in champagne ribbon that held their initials.
Amber Comyne was flower girl. Ringbearers were Jonathan Comyne and Eli Kahn.
Louis Randazzo III was best man. Groomsmen were Stefan Cox, Evan Mire, Cody Hebert and Sean Mahfouz. Austin Hebert and Grant Hebert were junior groomsmen.
A reception followed at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City. The reception area was decorated with pale pink vintage floral arrangements with crystal accents.
The wedding cake was a four-tiered confection topped with pale pink flowers and accented with the couple’s monogram.
Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Patterson Area Civic Center.
The bride is a graduate of Morgan City High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is employed at Parkview Baptist School.
The groom is a graduate of Morgan City High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is employed with Schneider Electric.
They honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and reside in Livingston.
