Sepulvado-Head wed in Shreveport

Torri Nicole Sepulvado and Braxton Lee Head were married during a 6 p.m. double-ring ceremony July 25 at Silver Lake Ball Room in Shreveport. The Rev. Brian Head, father of the groom, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph Sepulvado Jr. and Lila Wilkerson, both of Shreveport.
The groom is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Brian Lee Head of Morgan City.
Adorning the ballroom were white rose flower-ball vases placed on the aisle along with an ivory runner lined with rose buds, silver and gold accents, and draped with pearls and lace. Centerpiece for the ceremony was white arches with a handmade wooden cross, made especial for the ceremony.
The bride was attired in a white mermaid-style dress with a sweetheart neckline. The dress was complemented with a crystal and lace overlay.
Adorning her head was a white butterfly-style, cathedral veil.
She carried a bouquet of white roses and vintage jewels designed by her mother.
Taylor Degruise was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Julie Sepulvado, sister of bride; Ericka Wilkerson, cousin of bride; and Lacie Faulk, cousin of groom.
Bridal attendants wore a one-shoulder formal in mint green.
Flower girls were Gracie Hoppe and Mia Hoppe. They wore gold, flapper-style dresses.
Ringbearer was Mickey Wilkerson.
Jonathan Comeaux was best man. Groomsmen were Chance Fraley and Will Carroll, cousin of bride.
Ushers were Lane Wilkerson and Lance Wilkerson.
A Gatsby-themed reception followed at the Silver Lake Heritage Room in Shreveport.
The bride’s cake was a white two-tiered confection placed on a stand and adorned with pearls, beads and crystals handmade by the bride.
The groom’s cake was a double-layered German chocolate cake.
Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Savoie’s Restaurant in Shreveport.
The bride is a graduate of Nicholls State University in Thibodaux with a degree in mass communication.
The groom is a graduate of Nicholls State University with a degree in education.
They honeymooned in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and reside in Shreveport.
