Camping is one of the most valuable experiences a child can have. It’s a learning experience that helps boys and girls appreciate the outdoors, live together as a group, get along with others and appreciate people with different interests and backgrounds.
4-H Summer Camp is open to fourth- to sixth-graders. Campers choose from one of six activity tracks to participate in during their week at camp.
Campers also have recreational time to swim, create handcrafted items, archery, canoeing and kayaking, sand volleyball, kickball, board games, tubing and much more!
Our evening programs are fun and filled with skits, talent shows, vespers, dances and special guest speakers.
4-H Camp fee is $175. Students who are on the free- or reduced-lunch program at their school qualify for the Chancellor’s Scholarship that reduces the camp fee to $115.
4-H Camp offers a camp T-shirt for $7 to $9; camp photographs for $5 and a camp pillowcase is $8.
Deadline to register for camp is April 4. For more information contact 4-H Agents Jenni Ducote and Adriana Drusini at 337-828-4100, extension 300.
