AGU Purchase Awards presented

Artist Guild Unlimited Labor Day Show and Sale will be held Aug. 27 to Sept. 20 at the Everett Street Gallery in Morgan City. Members are selling purchase awards that will allow patrons admission to a pre-show event Aug. 26 to select artwork being sold. Patterson State Bank’s Robert Marin, left in bottom photo, buys an award from guild member Vikki Sons. Show hours during the Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival will be 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 27 to 29 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 28 to Sept. 1. Show hours following the festival will be 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays to Fridays and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
