Autism Information Expo set Aug. 2

The Autism Society Bayou is hosting its first Autism Information Expo on Aug. 2 at the Evergreen Cajun Center in Gray. A variety of speakers and vendors will be on hand for the free event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Featured speakers will include Dr. Grant Gautreaux who will discuss applied behavior analysis therapy. Dr. Christopher Rachal will explain how to obtain a diagnosis and get treatment for a child.
Vendors will be on hand that provide services to those with autism, provide educational materials, advocacy referrals and information on autism.
Resources and translators will be available in Spanish and Arabic.
Lunch will be provided to attendees.
