Bayou Vista Garden Club earns several awards

Bayou Vista Garden Club was the recipient of several awards at the Louisiana Garden Club Federation Summer Board meeting in Baton Rouge. The Deep South Region awards presented to Bayou Vista Garden Club were: Award 27i — Road Beautification, first place plus $25 and Award 18i — Adopt a Park, second place. National Garden Club President Linda Nelson presented an award of appreciation to the club for its participation in National Garden Club projects.
