Bayou Vista Garden Club members attend board meeting

Bayou Vista Garden Club members, Donna Bucci, president and Jo Ann Ryan, vice president, attended the Louisiana Garden Club Federation Summer Board at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Baton Rouge. Theme of the meeting was “Summertime and the Living Is Easy.”
Yvette Hebert, state president, presided over the meeting. National Garden Club President Linda Nelson was in attendance and her words of encouragement were received with enthusiasm, according to the Bayou Vista Garden Club news release.
The duo attended programs on “Table Design Arrangements” and “Louisiana Super Plants.” They also took part in informative workshops on putting in irrigation systems and making wreaths for all seasons.
