Blue Star Memorial Marker ceremony held

Bayou Vista Garden Club observed Veterans Day with a ceremony at the Blue Star Marker on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista. Ron Bucci, U.S. Army Specialist 5th Class — Vietnam era, placed the wreath in honor of all veterans. In attendance were club members Gloria Roy and Jo Ann Ryan, Bucci, and club member Donna Bucci, Veterans Day Chairman Verdie Laws, Janice Verret, Dawn Thomason and Jean Chauvin.
