Chi Chapter members help with Wrap-up

Several Delta Kappa Gamma Society members served as judges for the 10th annual Multiplication Learning Wrap-up Contest sponsored by St. Mary Parish School Board’s Title I Department. St. Mary Parish Chi Chapter members serving as judges were, back row from left in top photo, Alecia Rabalais, Jeannie Landry, Nancy Crochet and Tanya Rosamond. Overall contest winners were, front row from left, fourth-grader Paola Sanchez, J.S. Aucoin Elementary; third-grader Damori Austin, J.A. Hernandez Elementary; and fifth-grader Jaysean Mack, J.A. Hernandez Elementary. The event was held March 31 in Morgan City at the Materiel and Operation Center. Chi Chapter also made a donation of treat bags to all contest participants. Contest coordinator Sharon Brown, left in bottom photo, accepts the donation from Chi Chapter’s Debra Torline. Delta Kappa Gamma Society supports programs related to literacy and numeracy.
