Cypress Corvett Club holds Festival car

Cypress Corvette Club held its Shrimp and Petroleum Festival Car Show on Dec. 6 under the U.S. 90 bridge in Morgan City. The event was postponed from Labor Day weekend due to inclement weather. Festival royalty each picked a car to receive an award. Queen Hailee Thomas, right in top photo, selected a 1969 Chevy Camaro 228 owned by Mary Gary, of New Iberia. King Michael Patterson, right in bottom photo, selected a 1962 Chevy Corvette owned by Guy Gilmore, of Berwick. Each winner received a framed Festival poster.
