Birthday and anniversary celebrants for February were recognized at the February St. Mary AARP meeting. Special recognition was given to Sid Boudreaux, seated right, who celebrated his 102nd birthday.

Dance team entertains at St. Mary AARP meeting

St. Mary Parish AARP Chapter 4435 held its monthly meeting on Feb. 6 at the St. Mary Senior Citizens Center, home of St. Mary AARP, in Morgan City.
Prior to the meeting, members and guests were entertained with dance music, followed by bingo until 6:15 p.m.
Birthday and anniversary celebrants were recognized.
The meeting and meal sponsors for February were Twin City Funeral Home and Patterson State Bank. Ryan Yager, Twin City Funeral Home manager, was guest speaker.
Attendees were served a meal of homemade chili, crackers and birthday cake. The meal was prepared by Mac and Myrt McNemar and their cooking team. The cake was donated by M C Bank.
Entertainment for the evening was by the Morgan City Junior High School dance team, under the direction of sponsor Mary Jo Beadle.
