Diabetes discussed at Losing 2 Win Again seminar

On March 15, Losing 2 Win Again held its second education seminar. It featured educating people on how to take care of themselves with diabetes. Speaker Dr. Keidra Spencer of St. Mary Primary Care of Franklin explained the importance of “knowing your numbers.” She advised diabetics to have a hemoglobin A1c test every three months to know how well sugars are being managed. Those in attendance received a printout of a slide show prepared by Spencer. Refreshments were served.
