Parker Felterman was guest speaker at the Delta Kappa Gamma Society Chi Chapter meeting held Nov. 5. First Vice President Jeannie Landry greeted Felterman on behalf of the chapter.

Felterman speaks at Chi Chapter event

Parker Felterman was the guest speaker for the Nov. 5 Chi Chapter meeting at the Holiday Inn in Morgan City. Chi Chapter is a local affiliate of Delta Kappa Gamma Society.
He spoke about his experiences while writing his mystery novel, “The Revolver.” Felterman also fielded questions from the audience.
President Alecia Rabalais presided. The Collect was led by Second Vice President Nicol Armato.
During the business meeting, September meeting minutes, prepared by Recording Secretary Marie Cole, were accepted by general consent. Charlie Ann Eues offered a report prepared by Treasurer Malissa Hebert.
Theri Jo Candella, scholarship committee chairman, reminded members of application procedures and deadlines. Veronica Governale and Vera Judycki offered details about ways to impact the growth of the International World Fellowship Fund. The Society earmarks funds to aid deserving women in other countries wanting to further their education.
Fall table decorations were created by students of M.E. Norman Elementary.
Chi’s next gathering will be a Christmas social on Dec 5.
