Festival coronation tickets available

Tickets for the Aug. 29 Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival Coronation and Ball are on sale.
Vying for the title of Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival queen will be Grace Dragna, Jaclyn Garber, Carley Gravois, Rachel Lemoine, Ciara Norris, Alexis Vaughn and Anna Washburn.
The coronation will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Paul Schreier Theatre of the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.
The young woman chosen to wear the crown will be a good-will ambassador for the festival and the Tri-City area as she travels the state. She will reign over the 80th Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival set Sept. 3-7 in downtown Morgan City.
Tickets for the coronation are $7 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets for the BYOB ball that follows at 9 p.m. are $30 and patrons must be 21 to purchase a ticket. Entertainment will be by local bands Déjà Vu and Old Soul.
