Garden club members and deputies team up to spruce up

Members of the Bayou Vista Garden Club Civic Development Committee partnered with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office to replace and mulch trees and shrubs on Southeast Boulevard and at the Bayou Vista Community Center. Plantings included crape myrtles, ornamental magnolia, Nanina domestica and Indian hawthorn. Top photo from left are Capt. John Kahl, Lt.
