Johnson promotes Shrimp and Petroleum Festival

Paige Johnson, Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival queen, has been busily promoting the Labor Day weekend festival. She attended the Chackbay Gumbo Festival Day Events and Pageant on Aug. 3 where she congratulated Queen Kayla Bourgeois, right in top photo. Visiting queens took a boat tour through the swamps, feed alligators and were treated to a gumbo lunch. Also on Aug. 2, Johnson was a guest at the Gueydan Duck Festival Ball. She is with 2013 Gueydan Festival Queen Kelsey Primeaux, right in bottom photo. Johnson will crown her successor Aug. 23 during a coronation pageant at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.
