Landry, Adams are Adonis royalty

Charles “Chuck” Landry and Sheila Adams were named Krewe of Adonis King and Queen XXXIX Feb. 1 at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium. The men’s krewe held the first Mardi Gras ball in the Tri-City area. In keeping with the tableau theme, “Adonis Candy Emporium,” Adams represented “Queen Honeybee” and Landry was “Bit-O-Honey.” The krewe will hold the first parade of the season at 7 p.m. Feb. 28 in Morgan City.
