Landry presented at Lafayette ball

Grant Thomas Landry was one of several young patriots and debutants at the 55th George Washington Ball in Lafayette. The Galvez Chapter Daughter of the American Revolution and the Attakapas Chapter Sons of the American Revolution sponsor the annual event.
Landry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Paul Landry of Maurice, is home schooled via Willow Hammock Academy. He is in the Acadiana Home School Key Club, 4-H and Faith Fellowship home school organization. His patriotic ancestor was Amable Claude Duhon.
He was sponsored at the event by his father, a member of Attakapas. His brother, Jake Landry participated as an “honorary escort.”
Grant and Jake Landry are the grandsons of Geraldine Canty Walters of Maurice, formerly of Morgan City, and Joyce Landry of Maurice, formerly of Bayou Vista.
