Nicholls Players present award-winning ‘Proof’

THIBODAUX — The Nicholls Players will present performances of the Tony Award-winning stage play “Proof” March 5-8 in the Mary M. Danos Theater located inside Talbot Hall at Nicholls State University.
The performances, which begin at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday, will be held in conjunction with the university’s annual spring Jubilee, a festival of the arts and humanities that lasts through April 26.
“Proof,” directed by Nicholls speech instructor Anna Broussard, explores the world of mathematics, mental illness, family ties and love through the eyes of a daughter mourning her recently deceased father.
