Nicholls students begin ‘Operation White Socks’

Nicholls State University President-Select Bruce Murphy and wife Jeanne on Oct. 10 visited with students spearheading the Louisiana Center for Dyslexia and Related Learning Disorders’ “Operation White Socks.” The program, in its fourth year, aims to donate new pairs of socks, paperback books and DVDs to serving members of the military. Donations can be left at the center, located in Room 166 in Peltier Hall on the Nicholls campus in Thibodaux. The deadline to donate is Nov. 1.
