NSU film club to show 'The Dish' Friday
THIBODAUX — The Nicholls State University International Film Club and the Student Programming Association invite the community to a free screening of the Australian film “The Dish” at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, in Peltier Auditorium.
“The Dish,” a 2001 comedy film directed by Rob Sitch and starring Sam Neill, Billy Mitchell and Roz Hammond, tells the story of a remote Australian town populated by quirky characters that plays a key role in the first Apollo moon landing.
The movie is one of several popular domestic and international films to be screened free of charge on campus, according to the club’s press release.
