Parish library announces local book club schedule

There are numerous book clubs that gather at various branches of the St. Mary Parish Library.
“Spine Benders,” the Berwick Branch Library Teen Book Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 17 to discuss the novel “Fallen” by Lauren Kate. The Berwick Branch Library Book Club for Adults meets at 6 p.m. Dec. 19 to discuss the novel “Skipping Christmas” by John Grisham. This book club is open to the public.

“The Book Heads,” Amelia Branch Book Club for Young Adults meets at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 20 to discuss “Marked” by P.C. Cast. Anyone interested in joining this young adult book club or would like more information, call 985-631-2262.
Due to the holidays, the Bayou Vista Adult Book Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 10 instead of in December. Members will discuss the novel “Expecting Adam: A True Story of Birth, Rebirth, and Everyday Magic” by Martha Beck.
