Patterson Garden Club Vice President Evelyn Estay presented a gift of appreciation to Florist Mary Thompson of Bonnie’s Bouquets and Bakery in Patterson.

Patterson Garden Club meeting held

Mary Thompson, a florist at Bonnie’s Bouquets and Bakery in Patterson, presented the program, “Beauty of Fresh Flowers,” at the Jan. 17 Patterson Garden Club meeting.
She shared new trends in wrist corsages and bouquets. Thompson said some corsages now use lights, removable bracelets and vintage broaches. She demonstrated flower arranging by making a short and compact bouquet with daisies and another bouquet of a dozen white and pink roses.
A gift of appreciation was given to Thompson by Vice President Evelyn Estay.
The next Patterson Garden Club meeting will be held Feb. 21.
